The New England Mutiny is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the sport of women’s soccer by becoming the model franchise in the new United Women’s Soccer (UWS) league. The team will provide the opportunity for fans in western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut to watch the highest level of women’s soccer in the United States and to inspire the young female athlete.

The New England Mutiny was established in 1999 with the goal of providing a professional environment for players, fans and sponsors. The objective is to represent this region with the best women’s soccer team in the nation & make every home game a cherished community event.

OUR LEAGUE
UWS LogoThe New England Mutiny are once again at the forefront of women’s soccer in the United States, as they are one of the founding teams of United Women’s Soccer (UWS): a pro-am league that aspires to Tier 2 status underneath the fully-professional National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

UWS is a national league with teams playing within regional conferences and is professionally-operated for organizations that meet high minimum standards. UWS is an affiliate of U.S. Soccer through the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).

UWS rosters will be made up of college players, former and aspiring professionals & international stars. Three UWS organizations (Long Island Rough Riders, New England Mutiny & New York Magic) have fielded high level women’s teams in three decades!

OUR FRANCHISE
YMutiny celebrate after their victory over the Boston Breakers.our company will become associated with an organization that is one of the most recognized brands in the history of United States women’s soccer. The New England Mutiny have won SEVEN Conference Championships and played in FOUR National Championships, compiling an overall franchise record of 138-49-22 since 1999.

The Mutiny hosted the National Championship in 2005 and drew a record crowd of over 2,500 fans for the weekend. Over the course of our 16-year-plus history, the Mutiny nearly upset the National Team of China in front of 3,000 fans in Agawam, bested the professional Boston Breakers of the National Women’s Soccer League by a 2-1 score in East Longmeadow and have been ranked as high as #14 in the world!

OUR PLAYERS
The Mutiny's Meghan Schnur dons the USWNT uniform vs. Mexico.With your support, the Mutiny help female soccer players (many of whom are from the Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut region) succeed at the highest levels of the game. Playing with the Mutiny affords women the opportunity to develop and showcase their abilities on a national stage.

These talented and personable women have helped us not only become a model franchise, in terms of winning and drawing fans, but also serve as positive and friendly role models for the girls and boys with whom they interact at our games and outreach programs.
