Last night was the home opener for the New England Mutiny at Lusitano Stadium as they played the Long Island Rough Riders. It took the Mutiny just 16 minutes to score their first ever goal at Lusitano Stadium and from then on, the goals kept coming.

Last May, the Mutiny came into General Foley Stadium in Worcester, MA and they were dealt a humbling 1-0 loss that left the team searching for answers – answers that were never found in 2018. MUTINY ANNOUNCE FIRST WAVE OF SIGNINGS
The New England Mutiny will set sail on its 20th season this month. One of the oldest women’s soccer franchises in the United States will have a brand new look in 2019 - new venue, new staff, new coach. On the playing side, the team will undergo a major overhaul in its roster as a club record 17 new players will join the crew this season. However, one constant remains as it has for seasons with the return of the Mutiny’s all-time leading scorer Kate Howarth (University of Miami/Boston Breakers).
