The New England Mutiny will set sail on their 20th season when it travels across I-90 to take on the Worcester Smiles on May 11th to kick off its voyage in United Women’s Soccer.
The crew will play its home opener on Saturday, May 18th @ 7:00pmin its new venue at historic Lusitano Stadium in Ludlow, Massachusetts. The opponent that evening, the Long Island Rough Riders, will be playing in its 24th season as the two oldest women’s soccer franchises collide.
The New England Mutiny will play a total of five home games at Lusitano Stadium. The full schedule can be found at

Four teams will qualify for the East Conference playoffs in UWS with the winner representing the region for the National Championship.

    The New England Mutiny defeated New Jersey Copa 1-0 Wednesday night at St. John Vianney high school. The victory gave the Mutiny 21 regular season wins – the most in the history of United Women’s Soccer. The 20-year-old franchise is a founding member of UWS, which was created in 2016.     The New England Mutiny defeated the Worcester Smiles by a 5-0 final at Lusitano Stadium on Saturday night. Mutiny forward Kate Howarth scored the game-winner in the 26’ off a header on a corner kick from Monson’s Brooke Murphy. Howarth’s goal would be the only tally for the better part of 60 minutes as the home side struggled to find much rhythm and found it difficult to break down Worcester’s disciplined defensive unit.     In what was a great display of soccer, the New England Mutiny and Connecticut Fusion played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night at Lusitano Stadium. The home side drew first blood in the 49' as Kate Howarth scored her 55th goal as a member of the New England Mutiny. [read more]
