Impressing many of the college coaches in attendance, the team finished with a perfect 4-0 record while scoring 23 goals and allowing just 2. Catapulted by an opening day victory of 8-0 over GPS, the girls then swept the Saturday doubleheader versus the FC Stars and Seacoast United. A 4-1 triumph over the GPS Elite squad on the tournament’s final day secured the championship.

The team was difficult to defend as 10 different players scored goals over the weekend. Madison Sheehan paced the squad with 6 goals while Jordan Chatman followed close behind with 5 tallies. Allie Parent and Hannah Coffey had strong performances in defense and Meghan Monaghan was solid in the midfield.

“All 15 girls contributed to winning this Championship. We played fantastic in all thirds of the field- defense, midfield and attacking”, stated head coach Shaun Jenks. “I was especially happy with the contribution of our six new players as it looked like this team had been playing together for years,” added Jenks.
