ANDREWS & U.S. U-20'S BATTLE FOR CONCACAF CROWN

The CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship kicks off tomorrow (Thursday, January 9) in the Cayman Islands and New England Mutiny & University of Notre Dame midfielder Morgan Andrewswill be in uniform for the United States of America.

Over the course of 10 days, eight countries will fight it out for three spots in the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup that will be held in Canada this August.

The tournament is divided into two groups of four teams with the top two finishers in each group crossing over to battle each other in the Semifinals. The winners of the Semifinal matches (plus the winner of the Third-Place match) will earn the CONCACAF region's berths to the U-20 Women's World Cup.

The CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship will be available for viewing through FOX Soccer Plus (television) and FOX Soccer 2GO (online). FOX Soccer 2GO is offering fans a free live stream for all of the USA's matches at the 2014 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship in the Cayman Islands.

A digital platform for computers, tablets & smartphones, fans can go to foxsoccer2go.com and enter promo code "U20WNT" on the registration page to access the offer.     In front of another large crowd, the New England Mutiny defeated the Lancaster Inferno 2-1 at Lusitano Stadium on Friday night. On an evening that featured two former NWSL/WPS professionals, two National Team members and several collegiate All-Stars, it was a local high school phenom that would be the difference in this match.     The New England Mutiny defeated Syracuse DA by the final of 5-0. Mutiny Kate Howarth (Grand Blanc, MI/ Univ. of Miami) opened the scoring on the 10' with a blast that hit the the underneath of the crossbar for what would be the game-winner.
