MUTINY TO WEAR MASS

Springfield, MA - April 14, 2009 - The New England Mutiny is pleased to announce a partnership with MASS sportswear of Italy. Beginning with the 2009 season, the Mutiny will be outfitted by MASS for its home and away uniform kits. The agreement also extends to the club’s youth teams. The Fiorentina-based company offers an extensive line of authentic Italian sports apparel and accessories. The company has several sponsor agreements with Italian professional soccer teams, including Triestina and AC Cesena. MASS also sponsors Roma in the Italian Serie A women’s league.

“We are very pleased with our agreement with MASS as our technical sponsor. I hope this alliance is just the beginning of a mutually beneficial relationship as we help to promote the MASS brand in the United States”, said Mutiny owner Joe Ferrara.

The New England Mutiny will begin its seventh season in the Women’s Premier Soccer League on May 16th. The Mutiny have won the Eastern Conference in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 and reached the WPSL National Finals in 2004 and 2007.
