Jenny Maurer is one of the greatest women's soccer players to ever come out of western Massachusetts and is a charter member of the New England Mutiny, entering her tenth season with the team. In 2010, the hard-working & energetic midfielder was named to the All-WPSL East Second Team after being honored as a 2009 All-WPSL Second Team member. In Summer 2008, Maurer was second on the Mutiny in scoring, notching 8 goals and 6 assists in only 10 regular season games as a All-WPSL First Team honoree.

The East Longmeadow native missed two matches for the Mutiny in 2008 as she spent two weeks training with the U-23 U.S. Women's National Team. Maurer was a four-year starter for the Boston College Eagles and was captain of the team her senior year. After her 2005 All-WPSL First Team selection, she was invited to train with the U.S. U-21 Women's National Team. Maurer was a four-year letterwinner at East Longmeadow H.S. & was an NSCAA/adidas National All-America honoree her senior year.

The fact that she will actually get to play in her own hometown is inspiring. I also get a kick that the first time she laced up for the Mutiny, Morgan Andrews was seven years old."
