This will be the first season for Tiya Gallegos in a Mutiny uniform. The 2011 tri-captain finished her career at Boston University last fall with her third consecutive America East All-Conference Second Team selection for Head Coach Nancy Feldman. She finished tied for third on the team in scoring with 17 points (6 g, 5 a).

In 2010, Tiya was given the team's Strength and Conditioning award for her overall commitment to training in the weight room. She finished third on the team in goals (8) and points scored (19). Before Boston University, Gallegos scored 83 goals and 56 assists for Mayfair H.S. as the two-time Long Beach Press Player of the Year.
