Allie Fitzsimmons is another local product who has begun to make her presence felt in the regional soccer scene. Last fall, the West Springfield, MA-native was named a NSCAA All-East Region Second Team selection for her play in a American International College uniform. Fitzsimmons, who also earned First Team Northeast-10 All-Conference honors, started in 12 of her 13 games played and contributed one goal and two assist in her first season at AIC (after playing one year at the University of Rhode Island).

Allie was a 2008 & 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-State & All-New England selection for West Springfield H.S. Alison earned All-Western Mass. honors in each of her four years of high school and helped her team capture the 2007 Western Mass. Division I championship, earning MVP honors.

"Allie Fitzsimmons may still be the fastest player on the pitch, even with the move to the new league," said Ferrara.
