Morgan Andrews is one of the up-and-coming stars in the U.S. National soccer scene, being named one of five finalists for the "U.S. Soccer Young Female Athlete of the Year" (which was won by current USWNT star Sydney Leroux).

Andrews - who has verbally committed to attend Boston College in 2013 - was named the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Youth Player of the Year as a two-time NSCAA Youth All-America selection. In 2012, Morgan was named as a ESPN H.S. All-America First Team selection as the No. 1-ranked recruit nationally on the ESPNHS Top 150 ranking.

Last year, the crafty, deft and athletic midfielder was the youngest player called into a recent U-23 USWNT training camp. Andrews most recently returned from La Manga, Spain as she played in the U-19 division of Ten Nations Tournament for the U-17 USWNT who went undefeated in this international friendly competition, finishing at the top of their group. Morgan played all 270 minutes in the tournament, scoring the equalizer against England as the U-17's went unbeaten against the France, England and Netherlands U-19 National Team sides.

"Morgan has been billed as a 'can't miss' prospect," said Ferrara. "To be one of five players in the entire country up for U.S. Soccer Young Female Athlete of the Year speaks volumes about her abilities."
