#1 JACKIE FEDE
Former University of Rhode Island goalkeeper Jackie Fede - a first year player for the Mutiny - earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 Conference’s All-Academic Team for her efforts in Fall 2008. The Cheshire, Conn. native started 14 matches that season, recording a 1.38 GAA and .756 save percentage alongside three shutouts. In 2007, Fede made all 20 starts in goal for the Rams and finished with a total of 1863:43 minutes played and made 91 saves - good for a 1.16 GAA and a .791 save percentage.
At Cheshire H.S., Jackie captained her team in 2005-2006 and was Cheshire’s first player ever to be named to the All-Southern Connecticut Conference Team for four years (2002-2006). She also received All-State and All-New England recognition from 2004-2006 and earned New Haven Register All-Area honors from 2002-2006.
