SPRINGFIELD, MA (07/18/12) - The New England Mutiny of WPSL Elite host their final two games of the 2012 season this week. After Thursday night's match at East Longmeadow High School vs. the Chicago Red Stars, New England hosts F.C. Indiana in their home finale on Saturday night at Northampton H.S. Kick-off for both matches is at 7:00 PM.

However, the Northampton match will be more than just a game. The Mutiny-F.C. Indiana match will be "Breast Cancer Awareness Night" as the Mutiny have once again partnered with Baystate Hospital's Rays Of Hope Foundation. "Rays Of Hope" raises funds for research of a cure for breast cancer and provides services for breast cancer patients.

In an effort to support breast cancer awareness, the Mutiny will forego wearing their usual white home uniforms for commemorative pink jerseys. The pink jerseys will be auctioned off after the match with the proceeds going to the foundation.

This is not the first time New England has supported the Rays Of Hope Foundation, as the team has hosted several fundraisers in the past. The Mutiny encourages everyone to come out show your support and wear pink that evening.

"We started the tradition of wearing pink back in 2007 and the players and staff take pride in creating awareness of a great cause," said New England Mutiny owner Joe Ferrara.

New England has locked up a fifth-place finish in WPSL Elite for the 2012 season. Yet, the Mutiny (4-5-3) are still striving to finish with an above .500 record. It would be a rock-solid accomplishment for the team, especially in a 8-team league complete with three former Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) organizations in Boston, Chicago and Western New York as well as Paul Riley's New York Fury side.
