MUTINY JOINS NEW WPSL ELITE LEAGUE
SPRINGFIELD, MA (02/16/12) - The announcement from Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) on January 30th that it was suspending operations was believed to be a death knell for professional women's soccer in the United States. Well, not quite. The Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) recently announced the formation of WPSL Elite: an 8-team league which will have former WPS teams and the region's top WPSL teams playing the highest level of women's soccer in the United States....
